Brisbane has Australia’s fastest-growing passenger and freight airports and is considered as the centre of the aviation and aerospace industry for Queensland and Australia. With approx. 20,000 employees, 430 aviation and non-aviation related businesses the aviation industry contributes around AUD 5.3b to the Queensland economy.

Brisbane Aviation Professionals Society (B•A•P•S) is a non-for-profit, non-governmental, apolitical and independent society, which aims to foster the exchange between aviation professionals in the Brisbane metropolitan region: 

 

• Provide a platform for networking among aviation professionals in the Brisbane metro area

• Improving exchange of information within the aviation community

• Organise regular B•A•P•S events for networking purposes
